Online Retail and eCommerce – where does viral and social media marketing come in? The answer to this question is especially important when you are thinking about your systems and…
Social Media Professional (latin. districtus os)
Often seen at networking events or behind large cups of coffee. Tell tale signs include eccentric dress sense, loudness and the faint smell of cider.
Graphic Designers (latin. deficio procul maths)
Habitat often features black and white images of coffee cups. Typically the most attractive of the Digital World, Graphic Designers lack the ability to order coffee in fewer than 20 words.
Search Engine Marketer (latin. carus)
The alpha males of the Digital World, these animals see the world as one large spreadsheet. Watch out for the tattoo of the Google PageRank algorithm - and watch your wallet.
E-Commerce Consultants (latin. optimus mens)
By far the most intelligent of the Digital Professionals, e-commerce consultants attract only the finest mates. Never seen without a flowery shirt, these animals are by far the most camp and attract female graphic designers with promises of pens.
I like a good debate so I does - but at recent networking events about Social Media, Online Marketing, E-Commerce, Web Design and Technology I’ve been surrounded by nodders and…agree-ers!
How dare they agree with me! I want someone to say “No Ali - you’re wrong and here’s why” so I can 1. Learn something, 2. Debate the issue further, or 3. Punch them in the face and run away.
So, my friends, let us disagree as much as possible for it is when ideas come against criticism and conflict that they grow and develop into the world we see today.
Ali out.

An atheist society will mean the end of the human race!
I can see why the author of this diagram has reached that conclusion, after all we atheists don’t have such a great track record. What with the crusades, The Inquisition, Witch hunts, Human sacrifice and of course the whole Jihad thing we started.
I recently purchased an Xbox. I have memories of playing Medal of Honor in multiplayer mode at Christmas (on a PC) and I was impressed by that. I also used to play a lot of Sonic games on a Sega Megadrive (I’m sure it’s still around).
Coming from a family that never embraced games consoles (we had a dance mat at one point), I wasn’t expecting great things but I recently purchased an Xbox.
It arrived yesterday. I plugged it in and was impressed that the controller was wireless (sad, I know). I started playing Call of Duty and actually went “WHOAH!” several times.
I’ve never seen such good graphics. Everyone thinks I’m an idiot for being so impressed but I’ve never played anything like it - I’ve actually gone and bought more games and I want to do more of that Xbox Live stuff.
So if you see a tweet where I’m going “OMG LOOK AT THAT WATER! #xbox” then please understand - it’s like being a kid again.
